1. Before the exchange is finalized
Before finalizing, you or your exchange partner can update several details:

Guests: Only the guest can modify the number of travelers.

GuestPoints: Only the host can adjust the number of GuestPoints.

Dates and type of exchange: Both members can make changes.
You’ll find all exchange details on the right-hand side of your message thread.
* Tip: If a pencil icon appears next to a detail, it means you can modify it. If not, your exchange partner must do so.
If you're doing a reciprocal exchange, don’t forget to check both "Your trip" and "Partner’s trip" — you may have different editing rights on each.
* Important: Every time a change is made, the exchange must be pre-approved again.
2. After the exchange is finalized
Even once the exchange is finalized, you can still update certain details yourself by clicking “Modify the exchange” at the bottom right of your exchange summary.
You can use this to:

Adjust the number of travelers (if you’re the guest)

Edit the GuestPoints (if you’re the host)
-
Update the exchange dates (with mutual agreement)
For reference only, you can click "View the exchange details".
Need to make a bigger change?
If you want to:

Extend or shorten your exchange

Change the home selected for the exchange

Adjust GuestPoints outside your permissions
👉 First, confirm with your exchange partner via message, then contact our Member Support team and provide:

The full name of your exchange partner

If adding a night: is it at the beginning or end of the stay?

Or simply provide the new start and end dates
-
For reciprocal exchanges: does the change affect one or both stays?
