A violation is an action that goes against the principles of HomeExchange and/or our Terms of Use.
Here are some examples of actions that we would consider violations:
- Creating a fake exchange with someone you know to transfer GuestPoints or write fake reviews -
- Asking HomeExchange members for a deposit or for unauthorized fees -
- Finalizing an exchange for a friend or extended family member using your account -
Can I finalize an exchange for a friend/extended family member using my account?
- Cancelling exchanges without a valid reason.
- Having false information in your listing (eg. fake photos).
- Finalizing exchanges outside the platform in order not to pay the membership fee.
